Shiny disco balls, sexy boogies and true love for the music means only one thing, Wolf + Lamb is in the house. One of today’s most influential labels, Wolf + Lamb parties have become a global phenomenon. Their new party brand, Crew Love, representing the label’s bond with their artist and the love they have for each other as a family, landed on the white island. Sankeys was under a take over for a one night extravaganza, featuring the label’s all stars, Wolf + Lamb, Soul Clap, Tanner Ross, and No Regular Play.
Love could be expressed through words, emotions, actions or music and Crew Love is summarization of all. In a recent interview, Eli from Soul Clap explained the true meaning behind the concept, which is their bond as a label, a musical family with much love for each other, transforming all of that into a showcase to share the crew love through music for everyone to experience.
Sankeys saw a disco take over when the boys stood on the decks. Label boss Zev started the night off with some deep house tunes for a brief introduction to what was coming later. The night saw back to back sets between, Soul Clap, Gadi, and Tanner Ross, contributing with their own individual style to the soundtrack of the evening. Their take over of the basement proved to be a big success and the dance floor was rocking throughout the night.
Highlight of the night had to be No Regular Play’s flawless live performance. The New York lads are a true inspiration and they never seem to disappoint. Greg’s trumpet and live singing incorporated with Nick’s mixing was a beautiful journey of sound and had the club jumping for more. Eli and Charlie aka Soul Clap had the ravers with some dico oldies, which is always a successful music recipe.
Spreading the love globally, we will see a lot more of Crew Love in the upcoming months.
